Albion, ME – Alfred C. Inman passed away peacefully with his family by his side on November 29, 2019.\r\n\r\nAlfred was born in Providence, RI on December 14, 1938 to the late Alfred H. Inman and Bertha M. (Graichen) Inman.\r\n\r\nAlfred attended Adah Hawkins Elementary School, Harmony, RI; Burrillville High School, Burrillville, RI; Central High School, Providence, RI; and earned a Bachelor of Arts in British Literature from the University of Rhode Island, RI. \r\n\r\nAl loved to build model planes and boats with his son Andy, read and bake anything sweet! He also loved spending time with his "boys" and their families. \r\n\r\nAl was a gentle, patient, quiet man with a dry sense of humor. He will be sorely missed by his family, friends, church friends and very much by his dog, Lily.\r\n \r\nHe was a member of the East Benton Christian Church, Benton, ME.\r\n\r\nAl's military service - four years in the US Navy; 24 years US Army Reserves and United States Army Recruiting Command.\r\n\r\nHe is survived by his wife of almost 61 years, Judith, sons Andrew and wife, Janet, of Carver, MA; Steven and wife, Susan, of Portland, ME; and David and wife Frieda of Monroe, ME. Also, grandchildren, Samuel and wife, Kath, of Weymouth, MA; Emily, of Orlando, FL, Hannah, Claudia and Sawyer of Monroe, ME. His sister, Joyce Laliberte, of Harmony, RI, brother, Kenneth of Greenville, RI and several nieces and nephews.\r\n \r\nFuneral services will be held privately and there will be no calling hours. Al will be interred in the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Augusta, ME.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the East Benton Christian Church, 500 East Benton Rd., Benton, Maine 04901. This would be greatly appreciated as Al really loved this church and its Pastor, Daniel McKeen.
