He was born August 12, 1950, in Catskill, NY one of four children of Alfred Karl Walde and Ruth (Hines) Walde. He sang, played the trumpet, cornet, keyboard, and loved to play guitar. Al performed gigs in several bands for over 25 years mostly playing classic rock. His favorite band of all time was Pink Floyd. Al was predeceased by his father, Alfred Karl Walde and mother, Ruth (Hines) Walde; his brother, Karl Walde; and his grandparents, Karl and Martha Walde, and John and Alice Hines.
