Althea Louise West Obituary (1938 - 2017)

Waterville-Althea Louise West, 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 30, 2017, after a brief but fast-paced illness. Althea was born in 1938, the daughter of Dana and Dorothy Jones, she spent the better part of the last 20 years residing in Brockton, MA. Althea was predeceased by her mother and father; her son Ronnie; and two husbands, Ronald Nutt and Bill West. Althea is survived by many loving family members and friends, including her three sons, Randy Trask and his wife Pauline, Rick Trask and Shawn Nutt; four granddaughters, Casey Collins and her Husband Tj, Brook York and her husband Josh, Nicole Trask and Katelynn Nutt; and two great-grandsons, Carter York and Brayden Reed. Visiting hours will be Thursday, July 6th at 10am at Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main St., in Fairfield. A funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home at 11am. Burial will follow after the service at Friends Cemetery in Fairfield. The family would like to thank the staff at Woodlands Senior Living and Beacon Hospice for their attentive and loving care.
