CANAAN, MAINE – Carl “Moe” L. Scott, 71, died peacefully, December 10, 2014 at his home, with his loving wife at his side. Moe was born on April 20, 1943, in Waterville, ME, the son of the late Alvin and Della (Perkins) Scott. Moe attended school in Clinton, ME. He made a career for himself at Pike Industries where he employed for 43 and half years, before he retired. In addition to his love for his family, Moe enjoyed racing at Unity Raceway, snowmobiling, four wheeling, and fishing. He was predeceased by an infant daughter, Pauline Scott; and three sisters, Christine Malone and two infant sisters. Moe is survived by his loving and doting wife of 51 years, Paulette Dodge Scott; two daughters, Pauline Craft of Canaan, ME, and Veronica Reynolds of Canaan, ME; three grandchildren, Haley, Chloe, and Codi; a brother, Norman “Sonny” Scott of Fairfield, ME; and three sisters, Arlene Rowe of Glenburn, ME, Shirley Rhodes of Georgia, and Gloria Dodge of Waterville, ME; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, December 17, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lawry Brothers, 107 Main Street, Fairfield, ME. Burial will be held in spring at Fairview Cemetery in Canaan, ME.
