Darrold T. Johnston, Jr. Obituary (1951 - 2013)

Clinton, Maine-Darrold T. Johnston, Jr., 62, of Clinton, Maine, died on July 21, 2013, at his home in Clinton, Maine. He was born in Waterville, Maine on January 25, 1951, the son of the late Darrold T. Johnston, Sr. He attended schools in Waterville, Maine, and graduated from Waterville High School. He was employed by the Keyes Fibre Company in Waterville, Maine for over 25 years before retiring in the early 90’s as foreman at the Northend. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved the Moosehead Region. He also enjoyed woodcutting. He is survived by his two sons, Brandon Johnston and his wife Becky of Oakland, Maine, and James Johnston and his companion Rita of Westbrook, Maine; two granddaughters, Delaney and Ashley; his sister, Penney Higgins of Fairfield, Maine; and nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, July 27, from 1-3 p.m. at Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main Street, Fairfield, Maine.
