BENTON, MAINE — David L. Niles, 50, “blue eyes,” died March 2, 2014 at his home in Benton, Maine after losing his battle with cancer. He was born Oct. 10, 1963, in Rockland, Maine. David enjoyed many activities including “hanging out” with his many loving friends and family, watching NASCAR, playing poker, pool and horseshoes. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Judy; and two sons, David Jr. and John; siblings Mike and wife Tammy, twin brother Darryl and wife Kelly, Rose Hayes and husband Al, Pam Niles, John Gray and wife Beatrice, Karen Sewall and husband Robert, Steven Gray, Richard Farmer, Debra Thibodeau and husband Ray, and Nelson Gray and wife Lorraine; many nieces and nephews including a special great-niece, Jessie Carter, of Pittsfield, Maine. He is predeceased by his mother and father, Helen and Harold Niles; and a sister, Bona Weddecombe. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
