Gary Lee, 34, died unexpectedly on April 28, 2014 at his home in Fairfield, Maine. Gary was a devoted husband and father to his two beautiful girls Abby and Katie. He loved them with all his heart and soul. He would participate in any action if he thought that it would put a smile on their faces and loved these two precious girls with all he had. Gary grew up in Clinton, Maine, graduated from Lawrence High School and Kennebec Valley Community College. He has worked the past several years at Mainely Trusses in Fairfield, Maine. Gary is survived by his wife Erin, his daughters Abby and Katie Lee of Fairfield, Maine, his mother Sherry (Lee) Tanner and step-father William Tanner of Fairfield, Maine, his brother Roman Cardenas and his girlfriend Crystal Leland of China, Maine, his brother Chris Cardenas and his girlfriend Kinsey Hilton of Waterville, Maine, his brother Roy Cardenas and his wife Michaela of Waterville, Maine. Gary is also survived by his mother-in-law Catherine Ladd; his sister-in-law Caitlin Ladd, her boyfriend Eric Hellman and their daughter Catarina; and his brother-in-law Ian Ladd all of Oakland, Maine. Gary is also survived and affectionately known as Uncle Gooey to his niece whom he loved very much Ana Lucia (Lucy) Cardenas and his sister-in-law Amber Cardenas, his two step-brothers William Tanner and his family of Farmington, Maine and Ryan Tanner and his family of Skowhegan, Maine. His three step sisters, Sandy Sanchez and her family, Diane Stille and her family, Jennifer Cardenas and her family, and their dad Gabby Cardenas all of Texas. Gary is also survived by his grandparents Cecil and Maude Lee of Fairfield, Maine, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Gary was predeceased by his father Gary Killam, and cousin Mickey Killam. A remembrance gathering will be held at Fairfield United Methodist Church, Route 201, Fairfield, Maine, on Friday, May 2, 2014 from 10am to 12pm. There will be a private graveside service for family only.
