Georgine Y. Davis Obituary (1939 - 2014)

CLINTON, MAINE—Georgine Y. Davis, 74, of Clinton, Maine passed away at home following a long illness on Friday, April 4, 2014. She was born in Van Buren, Maine on April 19, 1939, the daughter of the late Ludger and Aurore (Ayotte) Roy. Georgine married James Davis in 1987, and the couple enjoyed many wonderful years together. She retired from K-Mart following 22 years of faithful service. Georgine enjoyed life to the fullest. She truly loved being outdoors. She enjoyed kayaking, gardening, and working around the house. She especially enjoyed spending time by “her river”, the Sebasticook, that flowed by their property. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Francine Madore; and her brothers, Roy Roy, and Lawrence Roy. Georgine will sadly missed by her husband, James Davis; her children, Christine, Penny, Jamie, and Jody; her brothers, Joseph and Richard Roy; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. There will no public services at this time.
