Fairfield, Maine--Gustave "Jerry" Doyon, 78, of Fairfield, Maine, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at his home.\r\n\r\nJerry was born in Waterville, Maine on December 2, 1937, the son of the late Lionel and Isella (Roy) Doyon.\r\n\r\nJerry retired from the US Army as a Chief Warrant Officer following 21years of service. He was an active member of the Elks, American Legion, and the VFW.\r\n\r\nJerry was always on the go, and he enjoyed hunting, and four wheeling, but his\r\nbiggest joy was his motorcycle, and bringing Whoopie pies to everyone. He has been referred by many people as being "priceless".\r\n\r\nHe was predeceased by four brothers, Lawrence, Leon, Robert, and Laurier; and his sister, Irene Kidwell.\r\n\r\nJerry is survived by his sons, Michael and Gerard "Jay" of Fairfield, Maine, Timothy of Oklahoma, and Jon and his wife, Mary of Canada; his daughter, Brenda Bolduc of Winslow, Maine; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Grace, Bernard and Collette, and Armand all of Maine; his sister, Yvette of Maine; his sisters-in-law, Frances, and Sandra of Maine; his sister-in-law, Jean from Conn.; his grandchildren, Sarah Mills, Stormie-Lynne Keegan, Elizabeth Irving, Joshua Doyon, Jonathan and Kayla-Marie Tracy, Macey Doyon, Michael Doyon, Alison Doyon, Lauren Bailey, Logan Bolduc, Chelsie Doyon, and Jessalyn Doyon; and several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. \r\n\r\nVisiting hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31 at Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main St., Fairfield, Maine. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 9 at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Mount Vernon Rd., Augusta, Maine.
