WINSLOW, ME--Jason Alan Dumont, age 39, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, October 3, 2018. He was born March 1, 1979 in Waterville, ME, to Robert Dumont and Deborah (Penny) Reynolds.\r\n\r\nHe grew up in Fairfield, ME, where he graduated from Lawrence High School in 1999. He was a long-time employee of Mainly Trusses and a valued member of the company.\r\n\r\nHe had a love for music. In his youth he developed a knack for playing the guitar, so much so, that his closest friends referred to him as “Dimebag Dumont”. He loved his dogs and spending time outdoors. He was an avid hunter and was passionate about his motorcycles. He touched the hearts of everyone who knew him.\r\n\r\nHe was predeceased by his father, Robert Dumont and sisters, Destiny and Autumn Dumont.\r\n\r\nHe is survived by his mother, Deborah Reynolds and her friend Mike Hillman, brothers, Kevin Dumont and wife Angel, Shawn Dumont, step sisters, Shelly Willey and her husband Jerry, Stephanie Levasseur, Haylee Landry (whom he loved like a daughter), several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, a nephew and an abundance of friends.\r\n\r\nFamily and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life at the Fairfield VFW on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.\r\n\r\nThe family would like to thank all those who have shown love, support and made donations in his honor.
