Bryn Mawr, Pa. -On the morning of Sept. 10, 2017, Jonathan E. Greer, 66, peacefully left this earth to be with his Heavenly father. His wife, Debra, and daughter, Robin, were by his side for the days leading up to his passing.\r\n\r\nJonathan was born raised in Bryn Mawr, Pa., the son of Thomas and Dorothy Greer. His siblings are Jeanie, Mary, Bill and Rich. \r\n\r\nJon graduated from Chambersburg High School where he met his wife, Debra Greer. Jon and Deb lived in Pennsylvania with their two children, Robin and Chad. They later moved to upstate New York where Jon built their new log cabin home by hand.\r\n\r\nJon owned his own plumbing and heating business. He was a very hard worker; he was very detailed and took extra time to make sure it was done correctly. When Jon wasn't working he enjoyed going on long walks, woodworking, and hunting for morels and arrowheads on his land. \r\nJon's children, grandchildren, relatives and friends will remember him as a loving, always humorous and compassionate man of faith. The memories we have of him will bring us comfort and laughter. \r\n\r\nA memorial service will be held on Sunday, Sept. 17. The service will be at 1 p.m. at New Beginnings Christian Church of God in Waterville..
