Benton, Maine-Joseph “Frank” Ouellet, 72, of Benton, Maine, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2011, at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Thayer Campus, after a long courageous battle with cancer and other illnesses. His family and friends were by his side. Frank was born in Van Buren, Maine on March 19, 1939, the son of the late Predent and Ava Ouellet. He also attended school in Van Buren, Maine. He served four years in the United States Air force before being honorably discharged with a Purple Heart. Frank was a structural engineer his whole life, and enjoyed sharing his knowledge with family, and many others. He enjoyed playing golf, spending time on his computer, and spending quality time with his “special” grandchildren Madison and Peyton every chance he had. He was predeceased by many siblings. Frank is survived by his wife Dolores; his son, Kevin and his fiancée Erin; daughter Joyce and friend David; sons, Roy, Paul and his wife Carrie, Jim, Joe, and Jason; daughters Jennifer and Dawn; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and his pride and joy, great grandson, Peyton.
