1931-2017\r\nWATERVILLE, ME—Kenneth Arthur Galipo, 86, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 26, 2017.\r\n\r\nKenneth was born in Hartford, CT. on October 3, 1931. He graduated high school in Hartford. He served in the Army from 1952-1954, in Japan. When he was in his 50’s, he attended Liberty Baptist College in Lynchburg, VA, and graduated in 1984.\r\n\r\nHe worked for a foam rubber company for several years and also with Phalo Wire Corp. for 17 years on the over-night shift.\r\n\r\nKenneth was a member of Clinton Baptist Church. His favorite activities always revolved around church and his family. Before moving to Maine, he was active in various churches as a Sunday school teacher, youth leader, Sunday school superintendent, and deacon.\r\n\r\nSome of Kenneth’s hobbies were woodworking, golf, and studying the Bible. He and his wife always enjoyed having guests for big Sunday lunches in their home.\r\n\r\nHe was predeceased by his parents; his wife; and their son.\r\n\r\nHe is survived by his daughter, Pamela and her husband, Dennis Baker; his grandchildren, David Baker, Julie and her husband, Scott Knoedler, Crystal Mahoney, and Jacob Galipo; and his great grandchildren, Christopher, Noah, Gabriella, and Chase.\r\n\r\nHe will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.\r\n\r\nVisiting will be from 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. with a funeral service to begin at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31 at Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main St., Fairfield, ME.
