Winslow, ME--Kevin W. Scott Sr., 53, died unexpectedly on Friday, December 25, 2015, in Oakland, ME.\r\n\r\nHe was born in Waterville, ME on May 28, 1962, the son of Walter and Eunice (Courtney) Scott. \r\n\r\nKevin attended Waterville schools. Most of his working life, he was a roofer in the Waterville, ME area. He was employed by many roofing companies including Grants Home Improvement, Winslow Roofing, and G&E Roofing.\r\n\r\nKevin lived most of his life in the Waterville, ME area and was a member of the Sons of Veterans of Foreign Wars in Waterville, ME. He was an avid Red Sox fan and followed the Pittsburgh Steelers.\r\n\r\nSurviving are two sons, Kevin Scott Jr., and his fiancé, Kyra, and Kyle Scott both of Winslow, ME; granddaughter, Haley; his father, Walter Scott of Winslow, ME; a brother David Grant and his wife, Wanda of Oakland, ME; four sisters, Kathy Comer of Fairfield, ME, Betsy Doyon of Cornville, ME, Becky Kliber of Otisfield, ME, and Lisa Scott of Jefferson, ME; uncle, Grover Scott of Florida; two aunts, Charlene Matheau of Florida, and Althea Miton of Dexter, ME; his longtime friend and companion, Lisa Aubin; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.\r\n\r\nA gathering of family and friends, to celebrate his life, will be held 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 2 at the Waterville VFW on Water Street in Waterville, ME. \r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kyle Scott, 31 Halifax St., Winslow, ME 04901 to help defray funeral expenses.
