HALLOWELL, MAINE--Malcolm N. Kenniston , 92, passed away at Woodlands Senior Living facility in Hallowell, Maine on Monday, Mar.17, 2014. He was born on Sept. 24, 1921, in Pittsfield, Maine, the son of Bernard and Mildred (Noble) Kenniston. Malcolm married Daphne R. Hall on June 6, L943. He proudly served 3 years with the 14th Armored Div. of the U.S. Army. Fondly known as "Ken", he was employed as an electrician for the Hollingsworth and Whitney, later Scott Paper Co. for 34 years at their plant in Winslow, Maine. Malcolm is survived by his three children, Nancy Kenniston of Augusta, Maine, Terry Kenniston and wife Linda of Augusta, Maine, and Pat Davies and husband John of Yarmouth, Maine; five grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy Sutter of Oregon and Muriel Clement of Connecticut; plus several nieces and nephews. There will be no visiting hours. Graveside services will be held in the spring at Friends Cemetery in N. Fairfield, Maine. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to N.
