Marc Francis Poulin, 46, of Oklahoma City, passed away on January 28, 2013. He was born on August 28th, 1966 in Waterville, Maine, the son of Dr. Donald R. and Beatrice D. Poulin. Marc, the youngest of 11 children, grew up in Belgrade, Maine and graduated from Messalonskee High School in 1985. He attended the University of Maine in Orono, where he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. Marc joined the Army in 1988 and was stationed in Fort Campbell Kentucky with the 101st Airborne Division. He obtained the rank of Sargent and was deployed to Iraq during Desert Storm where he proudly defended his Country. From 1993 to 2007, Marc worked for David Morse & Associates in California, New York City and Florida as an Insurance Adjuster and Private Investigator. For the last few years, Marc established and operated Doc Roofing Company in Oklahoma City with some of his brothers and nephews. Marc was an energetic entrepreneur and a masterful salesman. He was always eager to help anyone as was shown when he volunteered at Ground Zero to search for survivors of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on NYC. Marc will be sadly missed by so many and remembered for his ready smile, quick wit and good nature. He had that special charisma that showed genuine interest in the people around him. Marc was happiest when he was with his family and friends, making people laugh, telling stories and always finding new adventures. He loved playing his guitar, golfing, ice fishing in Maine, traveling with his family and his beloved dog Dude . Marc is survived by his Mother, Beatrice Poulin and siblings, Peter and wife Diane, Paul and wife Betsy, Phil and wife Marvi, Pam Kearney and husband Pat, Tom and wife Kim, Ted and wife Carol, Tim, Trudy and partner John Sullivan, Meg and partner Jeff Yankowsky, Mat and wife Becky, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held for family and friends at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Pleasant Street Waterville, Maine on February 16th, at 11:00 am.
