MARGARET E. WEBB\r\n1935-2018\r\n\r\nCLINTON, ME—Margaret E. Webb, 83, passed into God’s hands on Friday, April 13, 2018.\r\n\r\nMargaret was born on February 15, 1935, the daughter of Herman and Lenora Walker of Stonington, ME. She married Wallace Webb on May 15, 1954. They resided in Stonington, ME until 1965, at which time they moved to Clinton, ME.\r\n\r\nA member of Brown Memorial United Methodist Church, Margaret touched many through her wonderful singing in the church choir, as well as through her singing at weddings and other events. Margaret was a member of the Clinton Evening Extension. She also worked on Election Day, counting ballots at the Clinton Town Office.\r\n\r\nMargaret is survived by her devoted husband, Wallace; her three children and their spouses, Louise Chapman and her husband, Calvin, Michael Webb and his wife, Debbie, and Lisa Woodside and her husband, Jeff. She was a loving grandmother to her six grandchildren and their spouses, and to her ten great grandchildren.\r\n\r\nWe are comforted that she will be free from suffering “and every tear shall be wiped away”.\r\n\r\nVisiting hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17 at Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main St., Fairfield, ME. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18 at Brown Memorial United Methodist Church, 36 Church St., Clinton, ME.
