Ellsworth--Michael G. Grover, 68, passed away on Wednesday October 6th, 2021, at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital in Ellsworth after a short illness. \r\n\r\nMike was born in Fairfield, Maine the son of Frank Grover Jr. and Geraldine (Bickford) Grover.\r\n\r\nMike bounced around in his earlier years before finally settling down in in the Addison area for most of his adult life. Mike enjoyed the outside and watching birds and other wildlife. His smile and laughter were infectious, and he brought a grin to almost everyone he met. \r\n\r\nHe was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Geraldine Grover, Jr. He is survived by three brothers, Stephen Grover, Ronald Grover and his wife, Tracy, and Richard Grover and his wife, Tammy. He leaves behind very special friends at Addison Point Agency and Riverview House, both located in Addison, Maine.\r\n\r\nAt the request of the family, there will no visiting hours. Burial will be at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date where he be laid to rest next to his parents.\r\n\r\nThe family would like to extend special thanks and heartfelt gratitude to Kendra Nelson of the Addison Point Agency and Viola Rier of Riverview House for their exemplary efforts to assure that Mike was well taken care of and provided a quality of life that Mike deserved.
