CLINTON, Maine—Nancy L. Bolduc, 66, of Clinton, Maine died on Thursday, October 13, 2011, at Maine General Medical Center, Thayer Unit in Waterville,Maine, surrounded by her beloved and devoted children. She was born on December 28, 1944, the daughter of Anita Violette and Wilbur Hawes. She was educated in Waterville, Maine schools, and married Paul E. Bolduc on March 8, 1974, together raising six children. After a short career in housekeeping for The Jefferson Hotel and Klearview Manor, Nancy provided childcare at her home for many years. She then spent the remainder of her life as a dedicated wife, homemaker, and mother. Nancy’s children have many memories of her the way she always made the best of everything and seldom got rattled. She was warm, comical, wise, nurturing, and generous to a fault. Whenever she heard of anyone needing a helping hand, she was the first on there with clothing, food, furniture, etc. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Nancy loved singing, holding lawn sales and garage sales, and collecting porcelain dolls. She was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Jean Ann Vigue; her husband, Paul Bolduc; an infant daughter, Rachel Green; and a son, Daniel Green. Nancy will be sadly missed by two brothers, Daniel Hawes of Waterville, Maine, and Reggie Vigue and his wife, Millie of Shawmut, Maine; a sister, Diane Green and her husband, John of Vassalboro, Maine; her five remaining children, Thomas Green of Winslow, Maine, Alan Green and his wife, Donna of Bristol, Connecticut, Mark Green of Monmouth, Maine, Linda Zinkovitch of Clinton, Maine, and Patricia Bolduc of Clinton, Maine; her grandchildren, Sarah, Michelle, Sonya, Crystal, Theresa, Morgan, and Marissa Green, and Ana and Haley Zinkovitch; and three great-grandchildren. At the family’s request, there will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18 at St. John the Baptist Church on Monument Street in Winslow, Maine. Committal will follow at Maplewood Cemetery on Maple Street in Fairfield, Maine.
