FT. WAYNE, Ind. & Albion - The Homecoming of Pauline Wiggin was on April 15, 2015. She went home to Heaven to be reunited with her husband Eric, sister Charlene Hilda and her parents, along with a host of others with whom she was anxious to be reunited. In her last days on earth she said there were many waiting for her and she is now sharing a blessed reunion. As her family we grieve for OUR loss but not "as others who have no hope." Pauline was born on May 20, 1918 in North Palermo, ME, at the home of her grandparents. She lived with her parents and sister on the family farm in Freedom, ME, until she was 12 when they moved to Albion, ME. It was there that she grew up, attended church and at the age of 16, gave her life to the Lord. In her high school and church youth group she met Eric Wiggin. After a year of courtship, they were married on May 14, 1938. They moved to the Wiggin family farm and in May of 1939 the first of seven children were born. Eric and Pauline were very active in the Albion Christian Church. They often hosted missionaries in their home and they instilled, by their actions, an appreciation and love for the various missionaries they met, many of whom became friends. Following the death of her husband in 1969, Pauline, along with her four youngest children, moved to Fort Wayne, Ind. Again she was active in church work at Blackhawk Baptist Church for over 20 years and the last seven years at North Park Community Church. Preceding Pauline in death was her husband, Eric in December of 1967; her parents William and Lucy (Wood) Fuller; her sister Charlene Hilda (Fuller) Marr; and many other family and friends. Surviving are her seven children: Eric and wife Dorothy of Fruitport, Mich., George and wife Genetta of Fort Wayne, FL, Phillip and wife Lila of Delafield, Wis., Patricia of Fort Wayne, FL, Stephen and wife Connie of Hopkinsville, KY., Frank and wife Anita of Dallas, Texas, Dorothy of Fort Wayne, FL; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Her Celebration of Life service will be at North Park Community Church, 7160 Flutter Rd., Fort Wayne, FL, on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at 1 p.m., with visitation 2 hours prior beginning at 11 a.m. Calling will also be held on Friday, April 24, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. Burial will be in Albion, ME, at the #4 Cemetery on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 10 a.m.
