WATERVILLE, ME & KERNERSVILLE, NC—Ralph Everett Clement, 62, passed away with his family members by his side at Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn, ME on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015.\r\n\r\nHe was born in Waterville, ME on Sept. 12, 1953, the son of the late Leo and Jeanette (Haskell) Clement. Ralph served for a short time with the US Marine Corp and was discharged under honorable conditions.\r\n\r\nRalph was employed by Sappi paper mill in Skowhegan, ME for many years. Following his retirement in 2004, he moved to Kernersville, North Carolina to follow the NASCAR circuit. He thoroughly enjoyed NASCAR racing and his favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt Sr. Ralph had many special friends in Kernersville, North Carolina. He was also a big football fan and enjoyed watching football games.\r\n\r\nBesides his parents, he was predeceased by his half-sister, Nancy Carey. \r\n\r\nRalph is survived by his daughter, Crystal Clement Rancourt and her husband, Dan of Belmont, ME; his siblings, Barbara Chute of Oakland, ME, Ruth Poulin of Oakland, ME, Mark Clement and his wife, Joan of Fairfield, ME, and Arthur Clement of Clinton, ME; his half-brother, Gary Clement of Norridgewock, ME; his very special friend, Dan Spaulding of Waterville, ME; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.\r\n\r\nVisiting hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a funeral service to begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3 at Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main St., Fairfield, ME with Pastor Bill Lawrence officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
