FAIRFIELD, MAINE—Randall Brent Goldsmith, of Fairfield, ME, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2015, at Maine General Medical Center in Augusta, ME, surrounded by his loving family after a long struggle with an illness. He was born in Waterville, ME on April 2, 1956, the son of the late Norman and Ruby (McKechnie) Goldsmith. Randall was a graduate of Lawrence High School in Fairfield, ME, class of 1974. Following high school, Randall started his career as a mechanic spending most of his career working at Maheu’s Kawasaki. Randall was a family man and loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren who he adored. He also was an avid bow hunter. Randall will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Debora; his son, Matthew of Fairfield, ME; his daughter, Randi of Massachusetts; his brothers, Gary Goldsmith of Fairfield, ME, Dannel Goldsmith of Shawmut, ME, and Michael Goldsmith of Norridgewock, ME; his four grandchildren, Iaisah, Izabel, Landyn, and Aubri; and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will take place Monday, January 19 from noon to 2 p.m. with a memorial service to begin at 2 p.m. at Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main Street, Fairfield, ME.
