RAYMOND P. GUZZO\r\n1953-2018\r\n\r\nBENTON, ME—Raymond P. Guzzo, 64, of Benton, ME passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, surrounded by friends and family with even more friends and family in route to visit.\r\n\r\nRaymond was born in Yonkers, New York on July 3, 1953, the son of the late Anthony and Louise (Fordell) Guzzo.\r\n\r\nHe graduated high school form Saunders Technical. Raymond was an IBEW Union Electrician who was known for his support for any union brother in need. \r\n\r\nHe loved to watch his favorite sports teams, and was very excited to see his Philadelphia Eagles win a Super Bowl. He was also very glad to see the San Francisco Giants win several World Series titles. Raymond’s most enthusiastic support went to the Toronto Maple Leafs who he proudly cheered for his entire life. \r\n\r\nHa was an avid sportsman as well, whether it be in the woods or on the water. Raymond actually managed to catch the fabled “One that got away” as can be seen in pictures. He also loved teaching his daughter Stormy all he knew about their passion for Dodge Cummins Diesel Trucks.\r\n\r\nHe was predeceased by his parents; his daughter, Stormy Guzzo; and his brother, Lawrence Guzzo.\r\n\r\nRaymond will be sadly missed by his children, Anthony Guzzo and his wife, Kalee and their sons, Anthony Jr., and Austin, Steven Guzzo, and Hunter Guzzo; his cousin, Janet Marron; and his companion, Donna Ward.\r\n\r\nVisiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15 at Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main St., Fairfield, ME, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16 with Pastor Steve Donahue officiating.
