He also enjoyed rabbit hunting, ice fishing, and card games. Most of the time, he had a favorite dog in tow. Dick will always be remembered as a man of few words. He spoke when necessary, and you always knew where you stood with him. He had a dry wit and a twinkle in his eye when he was up to no good. His greatest love was his family. Dick was predeceased by his parents and his favorite basset hound, Molly. He leaves a wife, Pat, whom he married in 1965 in Waterville, Maine. Dick and Pat were neighborhood friends and sweethearts. He was her "Elvis". He also leaves his children, Keith, of San Diego, CA; Kimberly Davis and her husband Steve of Fremont, NH; Andrew of Benton, Maine, Thomas “Jamey” and his wife Vicki of Benton, Maine. "Bumpa" left his grandchildren, Victoria and Elizabeth Davis as well as Abigail and Evan Fisher. His grandchildren were so very special to him. He especially loved to talk hunting and guns with Evan. He also loved to tease the girls in his life – his sweet granddaughters. He leaves his special sister, Suzanne Pearl and her husband Robert of Falmouth, Maine. He felt fortunate to have her in his life. He leaves his older brother, James Fisher and his wife, Patience of Lincoln, Nebraska. Dick leaves his three sisters-in-law Sue, Kathy and Betsy and a brother-in-law, Mike; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and "Fisher" cousins that were more like brothers and sisters. He also leaves many wonderful friends, the Lawrence’s, Gilbert’s, Poissionner’s, and all our Squaw Mountain Village friends and family. Dick leaves his good buddy, Hobbes, his Golden Retriever.
