Robert (Bob) A Demery Jr, age 75 of Uxbridge, MA passed away on Monday, November 30, 2020 peacefully at Androscoggin Hospice House.\r\n\r\nBob was born in 1945 in Framingham, MA, the son of Robert Sr & Edith Demery. \r\n\r\nGrowing up he was known as a very caring & gentle person. He had a love for animals, with an especial affinity for dogs, cats, and farm animals. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing. He was a proud graduate of Norfolk Agricultural High School. Following graduation, he served in the Army. It was in the Army where he was trained and became an accomplished diesel mechanic. This would become a life-long passion. He loved working on the big machines and would continue to rebuild and repair Caterpillar tractors and large diesel motors until shortly before his death. Church was important to him. He attended the Fellowship Church in Dedham, MA where he would serve in a variety of rolls over the years. Quick to assist others, he was known to help-out anyone who needed a helping hand.\r\n\r\nHe is predeceased by his daughter Anne-Marie Demery, and his parents, Robert Sr & Edith Demery. \r\n\r\nHe is survived by his daughters Melanie (Demery) Goodsell & her spouse Rob and Holly (Demery) Larsen & her spouse Eric; his two sisters, Elizabeth Frank and Susan Favreau; four grandchildren, six nephews & one niece, and many special friends.\r\n\r\nThe family would like to thank Androscoggin Hospice House for their compassionate care.
