Bucksport, Maine-Tyler J. Manduca, 18, of Bucksport, Maine, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 25, 2011, in Palermo, Maine. Tyler was born in Waterville, Maine on January 2, 1993, the son of Russell J. Manduca and Stacy L. (Spaulding) Coombs. He graduated from Bucksport High School in 2011. He was ready to enlist the United States Air Force, where he was going into the field of engineering. Tyler was employed in the produce department at Hannaford in Bucksport, Maine. Tyler was predeceased by his father, Russell J. Manduca; and paternal grandmother, Jeannine Manduca. He is survived by his mother, Stacy Coombs and her husband Timothy of Bucksport, Maine; his two sisters Kirsten Coombs of Bucksport, Maine, and Kailyn (Manduca) Pelkey and her husband Tyler and their children Logan and Liam of Augusta, Maine; his girlfriend, Katy Bridges of Bucksport, Maine; his step-mother Tammy Manduca of Augusta, Maine; maternal grandparents Annette and Ronald Hood of Benton, Maine; and paternal grandparents William Manduca and his wife Cathy of Dresden, Maine; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2012, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main Street, Fairfield, Maine. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 5, at 5 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jack Quigg officiating.
